Don't panic but yes it's that time of the year again - Christmas!
Every year I like to have a wrapping theme to the point that those gifts that don't match my theme get hidden at the back of the tree. Yep I probably take it a bit far, well my husband thinks so, but thats what you get when you marry an interior designer.
This year I'm doing monochrome modern. Black, white and silver. You'll probably notice this theme extends into littlemonsterco store. Keeping the wrapping style simple means you can easily mix and match while keeping it stylish. And it can be used from the kids all the way through to nanna and granddad.

With a bit of imagination or the magical world of pinterest you can make your gifts look far more interesting than the run of the mill supermarket bought gift tags and ribbon. If you haven't already discovered washi tape you don't know what you're missing. This amazing tape can be used in so many ways, like you can see above. Use it directly on the paper or make sweet little washi tape bunting. Check out our washi tape pinterest board for more ideas https://www.pinterest.com/lmonsterco/washi-tape-styling/

Another idea that makes gifts extra special is to attach a small decoration that can be kept and used again and again. I usually reserve this for the bigger gifts as including a decoartion on every gift can really blow the christmas budget. This year I'll be using our new mini honeycomb balls and diamonds but anything can be used from small baubles to sprigs of mistletoe or candy canes

If stickers aren't your thing get your kids involved in making paper snow flakes like this one above. They're perfect for window decorating as well as gift styling.
