Valentine's day doesn't have to hit your hip pocket hard. In fact the best way to show your special squeeze how much you care is by doing a few thoughtful things on the day.
My other half hates Valentine's day but only because he feels it's over commercialized not because he's not romantic. Not only does he give me roses on Valentine's day he also gives our daughter a single stem rose too which I think is a beautiful gesture. So here are our top easy to do ideas for V day.
1. Say it with balloons

Put a sweet note inside a balloon. Mini heart balloons are just the cutest and are sure to put a smile on your valentine's face. All they have to do is pop the balloon to read their thoughtful message. Or write your special message on the outside. Put the balloon inside a box and let it float out as they open it.
2. Forget the store bought chocolates
